Over the weekend, a group of young men were caught on video vandalizing the benches in the Gassy, also known as DeFilippo Playground and Prince Street Park. Boston Police A-1 later found and arrested the one with the angle cutter. He said the benches were in the way of them doing bike stunts.

Boston Police and Fire Departments responded when procession fireworks caused a trash fire early on Sunday evening at the park on Prince Street in the North End, known as the Gassy and DeFilippo Playground.
