Report Says Nearly $1 Billion in Casino Spending by Mass. Residents in 2009
A pro-casino report was issued today by the Center for Policy Analysis (CFPA) at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, highlighting the $968.3 million spent by Massachusetts residents at New England’s resort casinos and racinos last year. Boston Restaurant Talk has confirmed that Hot Tomatoes on North Street will not be reopening. The store has been closed for a couple of months and it sounds like it is going to stay that way. There is another location on Bedford Street in downtown Boston.
