hottomatoesBoston Restaurant Talk has confirmed that Hot Tomatoes on North Street will not be reopening. The store has been closed for a couple of months and it sounds like it is going to stay that way. There is another location on Bedford Street in downtown Boston.

Hot Tomatoes Express has filed for a sandwich shop business license at 227 Hanover Street. This location is the former site of Lyndell’s Bakery. The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) voted unanimously to support zoning relief at 227 Hanover Street for a change of use at Hot Tomatoes, a new take-out restaurant.
