After Santa landed his helicopter at Columbus Park, it was time for the 48th North End Christmas Parade. Hundreds watched the Christmas Parade wind through the neighborhood streets. Two marching bands played holiday music while costumed characters took pictures with the kids. Of course, it’s not a parade without antique cars and fire trucks. The parade is dedicated in memory of James “Jimmy” Pallotta and sponsored by the North End Athletic Association in association with the Taste of the North End, Nazzaro Center, North End Against Drugs and Mayor’s Office of Tourism and Special Events. The Nazzaro Community Center held a fundraiser on Saturday, December 4, 2010 to raise money for the cure and treatment of cystic fibrosis. although Paul Cuccinatti put big effort into trying to get North End Marching Band to perform, another year with no invite for the Band that chose the neigborhood name to march under
SHAME 20 years and counting.

Mano I know of you probably ofc know my dad but every year marching and seeing your band is amazing and respectable #1 other than Roma. It is odd the Christmas one hasn’t invited the band, they always play well, will miss Eric. 20 years is a long time and more to come.
