Santa Claus arrived by helicopter on the waterfront on Sunday afternoon to the cheers of hundreds who gathered at Christopher Columbus Park. This is the first (and only?) year the Santa landing was at Columbus park because Langone Park and Puopolo Fields are under renovation.
The event is dedicated in memory of James “Jimmy” Pallotta and sponsored by Taste of the North End, North End Athletic Association, Nazzaro Center, North End Against Drugs and Mayor’s Office of Tourism and Special Events. Buon Natale!
