The Eliot School hosted night one of their 10th annual “Evening for Education” at il Molo on Sunday, November 10 to raise money for the Eliot’s play-based learning initiative, EPIC: Eliot Play. Innovate. Create.

The event brought together Eliot families, teachers, staff, and community members for an energetic evening in support of the school. If you missed out on the fun, a second Evening for Education will be held Sunday, November 17, hosted by Frankie and Pat Mendoza at their restaurant Trattoria di Monica.
The EPIC methodology ensures the cognitive development of students through equitable and accessible hands-on learning opportunities. Currently, EPIC offerings include woodworking, podcasting, stop-motion animation and more. Further fundraising will support fab lab /maker spaces at each of the three schools and a full-time fellow from NuVu Studios to facilitate studio-based programs and project-based curriculum in these spaces.
The Eliot School expressed a special thank you to Donato Frattaroli and family for their generosity in hosting an Evening for Education, as well as to 90+ Cellars, Michelle and Kevin Mehra.
The School shared a huge shout out and thank you to the generosity of Matt Conti at NorthendBoston.com and NorthendWaterfront.com, Collin Yip from RAFI Properties, Saint Anthony’s Society, Rosales and Partners Architects and The Leo Group. In addition, a special shout out went to Mrs. Jennifer McGivern for once again coordinating this successful event.
The Eliot School also shared a special thank you to the Eliot School’s fabulous families and caring community members who have seen the school grow into Boston’s best public school over the course of the last twelve years and continue to support us!
