What’s the 311? North Square Parking Sign Missing, Richmond St. Lights Out, Trash on Fleet St.

Welcome back to our weekly update that highlights some of the cases appearing on 311 in the North End/Waterfront neighborhoods. All 311 cases are public information and can be found at 311.boston.gov.

Parking Sign Discrepancy at North Square

This 311 user writes, “When north square was renovated the sidewalk was extended at the intersection of north sq and north st, making for an extra parking spot. However the parking sign was never updated and people continue to get tickets for no reason. Please add the sign.”

You can find the original 311 post here. The post was submitted and opened on October 4, 2019 and was also closed on October 4, 2019 with the following note, “Closed with status: Case Invalid. Please provide picture. North St. is in the North End request says North Sq. and McLellan Highway. Need more information”.

Street Lights at 123 Richmond St North End

This 311 user says, “Light has been out for many weeks now. Please fix as it’s darker longer and a safety risk. Thank you.”

Residential Trash out After Pick Up at 40 Fleet St

This 311 user writes, “Trash out illegally after trash pick up this morning in front of 40 Fleet St. along with pizza on the street please ticket and remove we have enough rodents running around the north end thank you”.
