It’s Thursday, February 1 and the countdown to the weekend is on. Just in case you’re looking for something to do while you count down the hours, minutes and seconds to the Super Bowl… Metro Boston has listed out 12 fun things to do in the city this weekend.

Groundhog Day
11:00AM Little Groove Concert at the North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for its Little Groove Concert where children have the opportunity to interact with parachutes, puppets, instruments, and more as they learn and play in a fun musical environment.
12:00PM Super Bowl Pep Rally for the NE Patriots at Faneuil Hall. Join the Faneuil Hall Marketplace merchants and members of the Boston University Cheerleading team for the ultimate pep rally as the New England Patriots prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl LII.
2:00PM North End Library Friday Film Series: “The Verdict”. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for the February Friday Film series featuring movies set in Boston. This Friday’s film will be “The Verdict”, see here for additional details.
Saturday, February 3:
9:30AM Kids Lego Club at the North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for a fun morning of building legos for all ages.
10:00AM Pirandello Society Italian Film: “ll Sole Dentro” (“The Sun Inside”). Join Anna Rocca, Associate Professor of French & Ialian at Salem State University, as she introduces the 2012 film Il Sole Dentro (“The Sun Inside”) at the annual Pirandello Society’s Italian Film screening at the North End Library, see additional details here.
