George Collins Receives Good Neighbor Recognition Award

George Collins was recently presented with the Good Neighbor Recognition Award for his efforts in cleaning around his Unity Street property. The award was presented by Recognition Committee Chair Janet Gilardi on behalf of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA). George said,

I have lived in the North End for 20 years with my wife Tara Shea and daughter Hannah Collins on Unity Street. I like to keep the appearance of the front of our building neat and clean the street about twice a week. If everyone did this we would have a cleaner neighborhood.

The monthly Good Neighbor award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and presented to local businesses, organizations and property owners that contribute to making our neighborhood beautiful and consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash.
