It was a balmy Friday night for the popular North End Holiday Shopping Stroll, now in its 9th year. Shoppers had free reign to explore the trendy boutiques, wine stores, and specialty shops through the neighborhood’s fabled streets. Stores offered holiday refreshments and special discounts as shoppers punched their ‘passport’ cards to win gift baskets.
Kicking off the annual stroll was the lighting of the Cross Street Christmas tree, courtesy of the North End Beautification Committee. Hot chocolate was provided by Caffe Paradiso with caroling and NEMPAC musical performers.
