What’s Going On Today:

NEWRA, the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association, holds its annual meeting and officer elections on Thursday night, 10/11, 7pm, at the Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street. A presentation will also be given regarding the Tony DeMarco statue at the corner of Hanover and Cross Streets.

NorthEndWaterfront Health holds a bocce tournament at Langone Park at 6pm.

Stop in at Che Bella Vita to see Romula’s art at an exhibition.

Psst … we hear a rumor that  U.S. Senator Scott Brown will be on Hanover Street around 6pm.

One of the suggestions coming out of “trash” discussions at community meetings is to ask cafes and restaurants to put “Keep the Neighborhood Clean” language on their cups and take-out packaging. One Hanover Street shop carrying through is My Cousin’s Place, as shown below.
