Tropical Storm Irene Hits Boston’s North End / Waterfront [Video]

Tropical Storm Irene may not have been as bad as expected, but it was still an experience. The video shows the scene in the North End / Waterfront area of Boston just after the rain subsided on Sunday, August 28, 2011. At the 3:00 minute mark in the video, there is a special message regarding the change in schedule for the St. Anthony’s Feast. In the video, I point out some areas where trees fell last winter.

The 98th St. Anthony’s Feast featured a 10-hour Grand Procession on Sunday bringing the statue of San Antonio to nearly every street in Boston’s North End.  We showed you the beginning in an earlier post, and here is that last part of the procession through the neighborhood.
