Friends of the North End Parks (FOTNEP) will join the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy in planting the remaining spring bulbs purchased by FOTNEP, including 800 daffodils and 500 crocus, within Parcels 5 and 6S, located adjacent to the Central Artery ramps at Haymarket Square.
Join with us and staff members of the Conservancy on Tuesday, November 27th between 9-12 with a rain date of November 28th. For those of you who are available, please join in this next planting. We want to beat the ground freeze!
At this time of Thanksgiving, we thank all of you for your support and hard work as we will have successfully planted nearly 12,000 daffodil bulbs through November; all purchased by Friends of the North End Parks and friendly supporters in anticipation of a fabulous Spring bloom!
We look forward to continuing the work on the much needed beautification of the North End Parks as well as contiguous Greenway areas.
The Friends of the North End Parks (www.FOTNEP.org) is dedicated to raising membership interest and additional funding during these late Fall and early Winter months. Many fundraising festivities are planned. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 3rd, 6:30 pm at the Mariner’s House.
