There have been two troubling thefts this week of high profile North End businesses. On Monday, a Mike’s Pastry employee was robbed on Hanover Street while bringing nearly $10,000 in cash to the Citizens Bank across the street. The Boston Licensing Board ruled this morning that two North End restaurants can extend their alcohol serving hours to 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
