Volleyball for Adults – Soccer for Children

Here are two recurring sports activities starting up:

Tuesday Night Volleyball (North End/Waterfront)
Coed open play from 7-9:00 PM.
One court. C- players and up, No beginners.
Nazzaro Community Center, Polcari Playground

Soccer for Kids
Super Soccer Stars launched in Boston in April.  It is the most popular
children’s soccer development program in New York, and has expanded to
Boston to offer classes in Brookline, Back Bay, Natick and Arlington.
Now, a North End / Waterfront neighborhood group is being organized.

The Herald is reporting that the home town bocce crew was beat by a group of outsiders today, in a benefit game for the Columbus Day Committee. State Representatives Aaron Michlewitz, Carlo Basile, State Senator Anthony Petrucelli and City Councilor Sal LaMattina lost to Representatives Marty Walz, Kathi Anne Reinstein, Thomas Golden and Katherine Clark.
