The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) voted unanimously to support zoning relief at 227 Hanover Street for a change of use at Hot Tomatoes, a new take-out restaurant. Previously, the premises were used for bakeries, LuLu’s and Lyndell’s. The vote is advisory to the Boston Licensing Board for a 7-day Common Victualler (CV) license. Hot Tomatoes previously occupied a location on North Street in the North End, but transferred that beer/wine license to Bedford Street near Downtown Crossing. More information in the above video.
