11:00AM 215th Army Band of MA National Guard. Join Faneuil Hall Marketplace at 4 Market Street where the Massachusetts National Guard’s 215th Army Band will play. They are the second oldest band in the United States Army.

A Big Week for Folks who Love Boston History

9:00AM Independence Day Parade. Join the city of Boston for their annual Independence Day Commemoration including a flag raising ceremony and parade beginning at City Hall Plaza.
9:45 AM Reading of the Declaration of Independence at Old State House. Bear witness to the patriotic Independence day tradition where the member of the Boston Ancient and the Honorable Artillery Company will recite the words that set the American Revolution in motion.
11:30AM USS Constitution Turnaround in Boston Harbor. The USS Constitution will make her annual Fourth of July turnaround cruise in Boston Harbor where she will fire a 21-gun salute to the nation at Castle Island before returning to the Charlestown Navy Yard.
8:00PM Live Simulcast of Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. The Greenway Simulcast of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular takes place on July 4th, with a massive screen covering all the live action in HD. This free, public event will take place on The Greenway on the large plaza and lawn at Atlantic Avenue and High Street, see additional details here.
10:30PM Fireworks Spectacular at Esplanade. Come out to the DCR Hatch Shell for the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular with music starting at 8:30PM and fireworks at 10:30PM.
