All the North End feast societies came together on All Saints Day for a celebratory gathering in Boston’s North End. Known primarily for their feasts and processions, the groups sponsored a Community Mass on November 1st at Saint Leonard Church. After the Mass, a special “All Saints” procession commenced through the streets with the North End Marching Band. A celebratory dinner followed, hosted at the newly renovated church hall by the St. Joseph’s Society, DePasquale Ventures and the Varano Group. (Photos by Matt Conti.)

The participating societies included Societá Santa Maria di Anzano, Saint Joseph Society, Madonna Delle Grazie Society, Saint Agrippina Di Mineo Benefit Society, Madonna Della Cava Society, Madonna del Soccorso di Sciacca Society (Fisherman’s Club), Santa Rosalia di Palermo Society and the San Gennaro Foundation of Boston.

Following the procession, a dinner was held at the newly restored church hall under St. Leonard’s church, which is also the new headquarters for the St. Joseph’s Society. The society is celebrating 94 years in Boston’s North End. Performing for the crowd were Street Magic, Gian Faraone, Vanessa Salvucci and Italian singer Ilaria Della Bidia.
