Here’s what you need to know for this weekend…
9:00AM Eliot School Talent at Faneuil Hall. The Eliot School will host its Annual Christmas Celebration Assembly. This special school wide event is held at the Great Hall in Faneuil Hall in December and in June to celebrate the end of the year.
With the recent Massachusetts communities like Somerville, Cambridge and Brookline that have replaced Columbus Day with Indigenous People’s Day, the Framingham school committee is considering making a similar switch, read more on Commonwealth Magazine.
A number of regulations were passed yesterday for short-term rentals through site like Airbnb. Now it’s up to Governor Baker to sign the regulations into law, read more on Curbed Boston.

The Chiltern Mountain Club’s holiday stroll covers four to five miles of lights and sights around various Boston neighborhoods, starting at the Park Street stop on Boston Common and looping back to the North End five hours later for pastries to celebrate all that walking, see additional details here.
