Boston Harbor Now has announced its full schedule for the 6th Annual New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront Celebration.
Over twenty businesses, government agencies, and cultural institutions from Boston’s waterfront neighborhoods will come together for New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront 2019, offering free and low-cost programming to provide a fun and memorable experience for all Boston residents and visitors.
This year’s free Ice Sculpture Stroll will be the biggest ever, running from 1:00pm – 4:00pm and featuring 17 locations of sculptures and activities.
The New Year’s Eve Midnight Harbor Fireworks will again return this year thanks to Boston Harbor Now’s partnership with the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park, the Wharf District Council, and the City of Boston. Ring in the new year with a brilliant display from a barge centered between Long Wharf and Fan Pier. The fireworks will begin at 11:59pm with Christopher Columbus Park in the North End, Fan Pier in the Seaport District, and the East Boston Harborwalk serving as ideal viewing locations.
