9:30AM EchoKids Music Concert & Workshop at the North End Library. Want to introduce your child to the language of music? EchoKids will be hosting an educational workshop for children at the North End Library! During this event, children will learn music fundamentals such as rhythmic counting and melodies through participation in the performance of their favorite songs!

11:00AM Kid’s Guide to Paul Revere Visit at the North End Library.The Paul Revere House is redesigning its Kids Guide to the Paul Revere House, and we want your help! Please join them for a free visit to the museum for the whole family and travel through time with the help of Copper the cat. After your visit, give your feedback on what you liked and didn’t like about the Kids Guide by talking with a museum educator. Space is limited. Please call the Library to register (617) 227-8135.

1:00 Friday Film Series: Blacklisted. Join the North End Library for their Friday film series featuring Hollywood directors and writers before and after the blacklist. This week’s film is The Servant, see additional details here.

1:00PM Oral Health Workshop. Join the ABCD North End / West End Neighborhood Service Center for their first in a series of workshops from the Office of Oral Health at Boston Public Health Commission. Workshop is free and a hot lunch will be served, see additional details here.

10:00AM SAT Prep at the North End Library. These SAT® courses are designed for high school students applying to college who need an efficient preparatory class in a condensed amount of time. The course will focus on test topics that will impact your score the most. This program is for high school students, and will run for four weeks and has limited seating. 11:00AM Cutillo Park History Social & Luncheon. Join the Friends of Cutillo Park at the Nazzaro Center for this social and luncheon. While it’s too cold to work in the park, we want to gather some of the unwritten history of the area as well as discuss ideas for the future of Cutillo Park and Morton Street, see additional details here.

11:30AM Peddock’s Island Winter Wander Cruise. Experience an unforgettable winter day as you wander the trails in search of winter tracks and traces. Enjoy a guided walk, play in the snow (if the weather cooperates), or sit by the fire for s’mores on the beach. 2:00PM I Piccoli Lettori – book reading in Italian. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street for its Italian reading group for little ones! Children (0-4) and their parents will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning.

6:00PM Literary Reading and Open Mic – Italian American Writers. The Italian American Writers Association in Boston presents “A literary reading and open mic,” at I AM Books at 189 North Street.
