For the next two weeks, traffic on the Alford Street Bridge will be shifted so that all vehicles will be traveling on the west span of the bridge, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
The Alford Street Bridge crosses over the Mystic River, connecting Everett and Charlestown. It will be undergoing bridge deck replacement operations through April 30, 2019. Motor vehicles will continue to have access to one lane of travel in each direction throughout the duration of the project.
