The reconstruction groundbreaking occurred in early October, and A+J Art+Design recently unveiled the North Square public art project website. The proposed artwork features four sculptures pertaining to the history and culture of the North End.

  1. This is an incredibly UN inspired design. This is a GREAT opportunity for LARGE TREES in the middle of the square (along with stone areas), where they won’t block foot traffic on narrow sidewalks or be prevented from real depth by a shallow underground tunnel deck.

HELP US BREATHE and incorporate real trees. It’s great for our health. It’s great for our property values. It great for individual enjoyment.

  2. I am hoping that this diagram is a work in progress. After all, if this is the final version, it is so sterile. Don’t frighten us like this. Please clarify that the drawing is NOT the final result ! Trees, please !
