What’s the 311? Abandoned Vehicles, Dead Animal Pickup, Litter, and an Illegally Parked Car

Welcome back to our weekly update that highlights some of the cases appearing on 311 in the North End/Waterfront neighborhoods. All 311 cases are public information and can be found at 311.boston.gov.

Dead Animal Pickup

“Dead rat on the Greenway in the North End. It’s close to the garden where there is seating on the cement and directly across from Peet’s Coffee.”

Abandoned Vehicle at 123 N Washington St North End

“Car has been sitting here untouched since the end of August.”

Residential Trash out Illegally at Intersection Of Fleet St & William F Mcclellan Hwy

“Please have someone sweep this area. There is trash all over the North End that was never picked up yesterday please have someone remove trash from earlier submitted requests.”

North Street Illegal Parking

“Not only is it illegal parking in the north end it’s parked going the incorrect way please have someone come in need the tag or remove it. Located across from 346 North St. in the north end.”

“Two broken and abandoned bikes attached to a sign post. They’ve been there for months!”
