Sue Benveniste Receives Good Neighbor Recognition Award

Sue Benveniste on Price Street is this month’s recipient of the Good Neighbor Recognition Award. Sue has lived in Boston’s North End since 1995. She was raised in California, in an Italian household, and remembers that in order to go out to play, she had to clean up in front of her doorway, and to do her gardening chores first! She loved her garden and still feels like she brought a little taste of it with her to Prince Street. Great job Sue!

The award was presented recently by North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) Good Neighbor Recognition Award Chair Janet Gilardi.

The Good Neighbor award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and presented to local businesses, organizations and property owners that contribute to making our neighborhood beautiful and consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash.
