Events for Friday, July 7th
12 Noon Plaza Palooza at City Hall Plaza. The City of Boston will host the third annual summer kick off on the City Hall Plaza “front lawn.” “Plaza Palooza” will welcome summer to City Hall, and include lawn games, music provided by 103.3 AMP Radio, and food for purchase. The event is free and open to all.
6:00 PM Friday Afternoon Concert Series at Sam Adams Park (Faneuil Hall). Fridays in July and August, this concert series will showcase local music.
8:00 PM Captain America at Rowes Wharf Boston Harbor Hotel. The Boston Harbor Hotel is continuing its free movie nights on Fridays this Summer with Captain America. The movie starts at 8 PM!

11am-6pm Open Canal Street. For the afternoon, the West End’s two-block Canal Street will shut down to vehicles, and open up for pedestrians, who will be able to shop, dine and enjoy the atmosphere of Boston’s West End. More details.
11am-5pm The Greenway Open Market is a vibrant open-air artisan market featuring talented area artists, crafters, and independent designers.
12pm-10pm Boston Pizza Festival at City Hall Plaza. Boston’s first ever Pizza Festival featuring celebrated local and international pizza vendors, live music, beer, wine and more. The first of its kind, The Boston Pizza Festival will give Bostonians the opportunity to try some of the best, mouth-watering pizza by the slice, prepared fresh by handcrafted pizza ovens. Partnerships with VPN (Naples-based Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) and Marra Forni will give the 2-day event an incomparable advantage, by supplying 30 handcrafted pizza ovens that will prepare the pizza on-site. Shows at 1:00 PM, 1:45 PM, & 2:30 PM Fife and Drum Concert at Paul Revere House Treat yourself to a sprightly concert of fife and drum music! Dressed in civilian clothing reproduced from period originals, alarm company members play marches and beat out cadences used to warn citizens of impending attack.
