In the local political scene, there are four candidates that immediately announced their intentions to run for the District 1 City Council seat being vacated by Sal LaMattina. Before the signs fill the windows and candidates fill the meetings, let us know who you are favoring now at the beginning of the race?

The field will be narrowed to two candidates in the preliminary election on September 26, 2017. The top two candidates will have a final run off for the district seat in the general municipal election ballot on November 7, 2017.
