Not every neighborhood in Boston is as centrally located as the North End, leaving many to rely on several means of transportation. In the North End, 69.8% of commutes are under 30 minutes, ranking 5th in the city, while 51% of North Enders walk or bike to their place of employment, continue reading at, WBUR.
Local North End artist Giovanni DeCunto has come a long way since selling his first painting for $35 when he was 12 years old. It was in the early 1990’s when DeCunto was looking for a place to open his studio in Boston, and he found that atmosphere he was searching for in the North End, where it, “felt like an Italian neighborhood, and it felt safe.” Read the full article at, Bostoniano.
