North Station Area Mobility Action Plan

Public Meeting

Description: The Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) and the Boston Transportation Department (BTD), in conjunction with other city departments, will host a public meeting for the North Station Area Mobility Action Plan (NSAMAP). This meeting follows the visioning session held for this project in June, and will discuss the input received there as well as through our online map (bit.ly/NSAMAP2016) and pop-up information gathering sessions. Committed improvements in the project area will also be presented. The action plan, announced in November, will develop both a range of near-term and longer-term implementable solutions for the improvement of transportation in areas adjacent to North Station, including the Bulfinch Triangle, the TD Bank Garden, Charles River Park, the Brook Courthouse, Nashua Street, and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

The Mobility Action Plan has developed an online wikimap which allows you visit a website and “drop a pin” on a map of the project area to highlight an issue or note a missing connection.  As the project advances and concepts begin to emerge, the wikimap will also be used to gather input on user reactions to the ideas developed.
