Sixth Annual North2South Baseball Classic Hosted by Rep. Michlewitz

Group photo of all the players &  coaches of game #1 of the 2015 North to South Baseball Classic. Also in the photo –  Sponsor Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and NEAA Baseball Coordinator John Romano.

This is the 6th year of this great baseball program between players from two fabulous baseball programs, NEAA and South End Little League.  This program was created by Rep. Aaron Michlewitz who represents both neighborhoods who share his own love and passion for baseball.  Each team was presented with awesome shirts and hats along with pizza and soft drinks. An MVP was selected from each team at the game’s conclusion.  The first game was played on Monday June 29th at Campochiaro baseball diamond at Langone Park.  The North End squad won the first game by a score of 15 to 5.  The game was much closer with great hits and plays from both teams.  Game number two, originally scheduled for Tuesday June 30th in the South End is in the process of being re-scheduled due to field conflicts at beautiful Peters Park in the South End.

All of the players and coaches really enjoy this program and we are all thankful to the Rep and his fantastic staff who put this together each year!
