The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NENNC) voted 9-0 in support of zoning relief for 47 Charter Street owner Anna Dibenedetto (47 Charter St Realty Trust), represented by Attorney Daniel Toscano. Ms. Dibenedetto was born and raised in the North End and is married to Jose Duarte of Taranta Restaurant on Hanover Street.
The property owner has applied to the City to add 400 square feet of residential living space in the basement as part of a first floor renovation that would add bathroom and kitchen space. The addition would not change the number of units in the non-owner-occupied multi-family residential building. The first floor would also be raised to meet code.
