The story is out, Boston was selected by the United States Olympic Committee to bid for the 2024 Olympic Games! Before everybody “moves out of the neighborhood,” lets get an idea about how our neighbors feel about the games being held here in 2024.
Many North End residents speak of how jam-packed the area was while hosting the 2004 Democratic National Committee (DNC) at the TD Garden. Some are excited to host such an honorable and major event, embracing the challenge of infrastructure improvements that could be an investment for the city for generations to come. Others worry about the month long games that will have tourist, spectators, and competitors here from every corner of the globe. Overall, whatever side you are on – we would love to know!

THE OLYMPICS IS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ALL AIRBNB S, WHICH ARE SUPPOSE TO BE ILLEGAL IN THIS
CITY & I WONDER HOW THIS WILL BE HANDLED.
It is insane. There are many more things that need to be done in Boston besides the Olympics… And no way it isn’t going to cost us money. Then again, I could move out for 3 weeks and rent my space.
That’s all we need is more chaos !! All roads lead to The North End !!! Sure it may be good for businesses~~but not for the people that try to live here in peace !!!
Miriam, you may have said this in jest, but if not~~~you may not be happy with the condition of your property upon your return???
