Many have noticed widespread road closings and sidewalks being shut down in certain North End / Waterfront areas where extensive sewer work is being done. This initiative is expected to continue until November 2015 and almost every street in the North End will be impacted. The system rehabilitation work began in November 2014 and is being done by Boston Water & Sewer Commission. We are all looking forward to improved water, sewer, and drainage systems in the neighborhood (and less rats).
