Mayor Elect Marty Walsh talked with North End and Downtown Boston constituents on Thursday, December 5th during a fundraiser at Joe’s American Bar & Grille on the waterfront. The event was organized by supporters Daniel Passacantilli, Jeff Drago, Daniel Toscano and Stephen Passacantilli.
In a brief speech, Walsh said he does not care who voted for who and is looking forward to announcing his initial plans as Mayor in the next few weeks. The Mayor Elect has recently announced Working Teams to help establish policy as part of the transition (More information at Boston14.org).
Inauguration Day is January 6, 2014 when Martin Walsh will formally take the reigns from longtime Mayor Tom Menino. Shown below is a photo gallery from the Joe’s event.
