Neighborhood View of the Day:

The 2nd graders of the Eliot School had lunch and visited the City Council Chambers with Councilor Sal LaMattina. Thanks to the Councilor’s office for the action photo!

North End / Waterfront Events on the Calendar:

  • The North End Historical Society is hosting author and native North Ender, Dom Capossela at the Nazzaro Center, 6:00 pm. More information at NorthEndBoston.org.
  • The film, “Waterloo Bridge” is being shown at the North End Library, 6:00 pm.
  • Also at 6:00 pm, there is a meeting regarding the Government Center Garage Redevelopment project at City Hall, 9th Floor. More information.
  • Following the Downtown Waterfront Municipal Harbor Plan? There is a meeting on Wednesday, 3-5pm at Atlantic Wharf, 290 Congress St.
  • Mayoral Candidate John Connolly is having a fundraiser at Tia’s on the Waterfront, 200 Atlantic Avenue, starting at 5:30 pm.
  • City Councilor At Large candidate, Michael Flaherty, is having a meet and greet at Euno Restaurant (119 Salem Street) at 5:30 pm.
