North End / Waterfront Events on the Calendar:

  • From 8am-4pm, it’s an Old Fashioned Bake Sale on Hanover Street, next to the Firehouse, to benefit the Eliot School Family Council.
  • The first Mayor’s forum of candidates takes place on Wednesday, 8:30 am at 290 Congress Street.
  • At 6:00 pm, the North End Library presents “Wild Boys of the Road” in its Forbiden Hollywood Film Series.
  • At 7:00 pm, catch the debate on WBZ-TV between US Senate candidates Ed Markey and Gabriel Gomez.
  • Also at 7:00 pm, Fr. Rick Martignetti holds a talk “Breaking Bread with Jesus” at the St. Leonard Parish Hall.
  • At 8:00 pm, the Bruins take on the Penguins at home for Game 3 of the Playoff series.
