Boston Shines – Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 27, 2013 – Registration Open

The City of Boston is hosting its annual neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, April 27, 2013. In the North End, volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Prado / Paul Revere Mall at 9:00 am.

The City will provide brooms and bags. (Usually coffee and donuts too.) In order to have enough equipment, Nicole Leo at the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services, is asking groups and individuals to register online. More information below and contact Nicole with questions at (617) 635-4987.

Join Us for Boston Shines Neighborhood Clean Up on April 27th
Join hands with the city and over 5,000 volunteers to beautify Boston during this two-day citywide event. Volunteers will make our communities clean by sweeping, raking, planting flowers, and picking up trash. You can register to participate in this event as an individual or with your neighborhood group, community organization, or business. Register now for the community cleanup day on Saturday.

  1. Does anyone know who to call about the rodent problem? I and a few neighbors where sitting in front of Casa Maria apartments 2 nights on a warm night there was no garbage and 3 Very big rats came right in front of us everyone scrambled and went home. It was still light out! And of course we need barrels out for tourists Some neighbors just dont
