North End Seniors – Information Session at ABCD Center on October 15th

North End seniors have an opportunity to prepare for Medicare Open Enrollment at the ABCD North End / West End Neighborhood Service Center at 1 Michelangelo Street on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Details are shown below from the ABCD center.

The Open Enrollment period for Medicare health and prescription drug plans begins on October 15th. It is important for Medicare beneficiaries to examine their health needs and determine if they need to make changes to their current plans. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) together with the City of Boston Commission on Aging, are hosting a special opportunity for seniors to learn about Medicare and Open Enrollment. Seniors will receive information about the Open Enrollment period including new benefits, donut hole discounts and local resources that provide counseling at no charge. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask Medicare-related questions.
