Coming off the well-received expansion news for their school, parents and friends of the John Eliot K-8 School celebrated at a fundraiser on Friday to benefit the North End neighborhood school. Supporters perused an extensive silent auction before enjoying a full-course dinner followed by dancing to a DJ at the Fairmont Battery Wharf Hotel.

Patrons at Lucca’s North End and Lucca’s Back Bay can donate 10% of their tab to one of three North End charities for the months of April and May 2016. The 23rd Taste of the North End was a blowout with over 600 attendees coming out on Friday night for the banner fundraiser to support neighborhood charities. Over 40 restaurants, pastry shops, beverage suppliers and distributors donated their time and scrumptious offerings to support the annual event at the Steriti Memorial Skating Rink.
