NEWRA Logo ClearThe North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association’s Zoning, Licensing and Construction (ZLC) Committee will hold its next meeting this Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at the Pilot House, 2 Atlantic Ave, beginning at 7:00 PM.  The meeting agenda is attached and copied below.  NEWRA meetings are open to all, and NEWRA encourages North End/Waterfront residents to participate in these discussions. Zoning and Licensing Applications

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM
54 Salem Street, Damien DiPaola has applied to the Licensing Board for the City of Boston to transfer the C.V. Malt and Wine Beverages with Cordials License formerly exercised by Eclano Restaurant to operate a proposed new restaurant at the same location.  The license has a 1:00 AM closing hour, seven days.

7:15 PM – 7:30 PM
78-80 Salem Street, Marisa Iocco has applied to the Licensing Board for the City of Boston to transfer the C.V. Malt and Wine Beverages License formerly exercised by Grezzo Restaurant at 69 Prince Street to operate a proposed new restaurant at 78-80 Salem Street, formerly Michael’s Salon.  The license currently has an 11:00 PM closing hour seven days.  The application includes a request for an 11:00 PM closing hour Monday through Thursday and a 12:00 AM closing hour Friday and Saturday.  The 78-80 Salem Street location, a one-story building, is currently not zoned for restaurant use.  The applicant plans to seek zoning relief to allow restaurant use.

143-145 Richmond Street, Vinoteca di Monica, Jorge Mendoza has applied to the Licensing Board for the City of Boston to change the closing hour in the restaurant’s C.V. All Alcohol Beverages License from the current 11:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 12:00 AM Friday through Sunday to 1:00 AM seven days per week.

7:45 PM – 8:00 PM
357 Commercial Street (Lincoln Wharf) Units 712-713, Nasser Buisier has filed an appeal with the Boston Board of Appeal seeking approval to enclose two existing outdoor patios to create additional living space.

8:00 PM – 8:15 PM
112 Salem Street, La Famiglia Giorgio, Albert Giorgio has applied to the Licensing Board for the City of Boston for a  C.V. 7-Day All-Alcohol Beverages License.  The restaurant currently operates with a Malt and Wine Beverages with Cordials license.
