I joined a hearty Boston by Foot group that braved the cold on January 17th to commemorate the 305th Birthday of Benjamin Franklin. This video slideshow shows the downtown Boston landmarks and tells a bit of history associated with Ben and his life.
The music features the glass armonica, an instrument invented by Franklin with a sound similar to rubbing the rim of a glass. Mozart later wrote this piece, Adagio and Rondo 617, specifically for the armonica.
These are amazing photos. I pass by those places all the time.
Thanks Matt – that's a fabulous video slideshow!
