There will be a special street cleaning on several North End streets on Thursday, February 18th between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. The mid-winter cleaning is to pick-up the accumulated trash in the gutters and under vehicles.
The City is asking for voluntary cooperation by car owners to move their vehicles during the 4 hour period so the sweepers can get as close to the curb as possible. Signs will be posted on the streets to be cleaned, which are mostly in the center of the North End.
Regular street sweeping is scheduled to begin again on April 1st.
