March Street Sweeping Postponed & No More Parking Space Savers

Public Works has announced that March street sweeping will be postponed until the snow melts. They will also start removing space savers March 2nd (NEWF Image)

The Boston Public Works Department announced that posted residential street sweeping will be postponed in neighborhoods with March street sweeping (including the North End, South End and Beacon Hill) until streets are cleared to the curb and gutters are free of ice and snow.

In order for streets to be properly swept, a thaw and large scale melting must occur. The Public Works Department will notify residents once streets are clear enough for street sweeping to resume.

Daytime program parking restrictions will therefore not be in effect until street sweeping resumes.

Starting Monday, March 2nd, Public Works will remove all parking space savers.
