North End’s Mirabella Pool Opens for 2013 Summer Season

This weekend was the summer opening for the North End’s Mirabella Pool on Commercial Street. The pool looks over Boston Harbor and is now open with public swimming beginning at 11:00 am daily. There is also a spray pool out front. Roving the neighborhood, Phil Orlandella shares these snapshots.

Fans came out on Friday to TD Garden’s parking lot for a big send-off as the Boston Bruins head to Chicago for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Many of the players took time to greet fans and give signatures. Blades was on hand as were the Bruins girls. Photos by Matt Conti.
