With 244 total votes, the Greenway Winter Lights poll results decisively show a preference for lighted trees and structures, as well as winter gardens and ice sculptures. The 109th Fisherman’s Feast kicked off this weekend continuing the tradition of the North End’s oldest running Italian festival. The feast honors Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca with ceremonies at the Fisherman’s Club on North & Lewis Streets. Former World Welterweight Boxing Champion Tony DeMarco came home this weekend to the Fisherman’s Feast in Boston’s North End to receive the 2011 Italian-American Award and release his new autobiography, “Nardo – Memoirs of a Boxing Champion.” The video above shows the award ceremony, Tony’s speech and a few other special guests.
