What’s The 311? Salem Street Pothole Returns; Cart of Trash in Commercial & Richmond Street Park

The Salem Street Pothole Returns

“More than a pothole, this like a sinkhole! On Salem Street near Parmenter.”

Note: This pothole has been a reocurring case in “What’s The 311?” and has been marked resolved multiple times on the 311 website.

Small Park on Corner of Richmond and Commercial Streets Allegedly Contains Shopping Cart Full of Trash

“There is a “park” on the corner of Richmond St. and Commercial St. in the North End, adjacent to Christopher Columbus Plaza apartment building. In the park there are benches, a broken street light, and an old grocery cart that has been filled with trash for over 6 months. The grocery cart is locked to the fence and is no one’s personal property. Please can you have someone remove the grocery cart filled with trash? It is now a dumping ground for beer cans, nips, needles and who knows what else. Thank you!”

The original 311 post can be found here. The case was submitted and opened on January 10, 2019. The case was then closed that same day on January 22, 2019 with the following message: “Closed with status: VIOCOR: Violation Corrected”
