Neighborhood Photo: Removing More Burnouts

In response to the burned out car that has finally been removed from North Street, Lauren Nelson shares these photos of the burned out building at Commercial Wharf and wonders how long it will be before this eyesore is removed. The fire goes back to 2011 when 95 Commercial Wharf was engulfed in smoke flames.

  1. This building was a cheap-looking eyesore prior to its demise, and it’s been a serious blight on the waterfront for the past 5 years. Anyone know what the status is?

    1. Good to know others find this neglect objectionable.
      It is a blight on the area and an obnoxious presentation of an otherwise friendly and inviting part of the city.
