Dozens gathered in Copley Square earlier this week in a candlelight vigil for the Newtown shooting victims. Among them were several North Enders and NEMPAC guitar student, Chris Romano, was a featured performer.
The event was organized by Kara Paladino and music for the event was coordinated by NEMPAC’s musical director, Sherri Snow. “NEMPAC is very proud of our student who volunteered to play for the event! After all, it is music that can express much more than words can in a time like this,” said Snow. Shown in the NECN video below is the Romano family at the vigil.
A candlelight vigil is scheduled in the North End on January 5, 2013. Check the Community Calendar as details become available.
Someone, had recommended the song “Reflection”, by Bostons very own top female christian artist, seems to fit the circumstances surrounding the Newtown incident.
Reflection on Truth, will uphold you when destruction wants to control you…etc…
I too believe this inspirational song is fitting….
“Reflection”, by Monica Ursino
Only Heaven could heal a pain such as this…God Alone.
