Far too much money for what you are getting. If you don’t have soundproofing, and you can hear your neighbors, not a good buy. If you don’t have forced hot water for heat, which is the cleanest form heat, you got robbed. It all looks beautiful to the eye, but what happens when the bills come in, or you can’t sleep at nite because you can hear your neighbors. The things mentioned are a very common problem. Soundproofing & Heat are too major issues.
Joan, I am sure that anyone who makes such a large investment recognizes the fact that they are moving into the middle of a city and the most densely populated area of New England and they may have to deal with some noise. Let’s be realistic here.
Agreed, Joseph.
Joe & Spare Us, When you have serious soundproofing, which at these prices, one should definitely have. There is a big difference when major soundproofing is part of the construction, and I have been in places where it does exist. Sorry guys, I don’t believe because you live in the
city you have to be subjected to all kinds of sounds, especially when we are talking over a
million dollars, which might not be a lot to either one of you. Maybe you are both into selling
real estate.
