On November 1st, the North End feast societies came together for a Mass at St. Leonard Church after which a procession commenced through the streets with the North End Marching Band.
Following the procession, a dinner was held at the newly restored church hall under St. Leonard’s church, which is also the new headquarters for the St. Joseph’s Society. Performing for the crowd were Street Magic, Gian Faraone, Vanessa Salvucci and Italian singer Ilaria Della Bidia.
The participating societies included Societá Santa Maria di Anzano, Saint Joseph Society, Madonna Delle Grazie Society, Saint Agrippina Di Mineo Benefit Society, Madonna Della Cava Society, Madonna del Soccorso di Sciacca Society (Fisherman’s Club), Santa Rosalia di Palermo Society and the San Gennaro Foundation of Boston.
